Women's Rowing Releases Spring Schedule

MELBOURNE, Fla. (W. Rowing) – Florida Tech head women’s rowing coach Adam Thorstad today announced his schedule for spring 2009. Thorstad said it’s a schedule that should let us know where we are throughout the season.

The Panthers will start their spring schedule off with the Southern Sprints Indoor Rowing Championships which doesn’t count towards competition. For the month of March Florida Tech will be home at Canel 54 in Fellsmore, Fla.

Tars Top Panthers, 99-79

MELBOURNE, Fla. (Men’s Basketball) – Florida Tech had a rough time toward the end of the first half Wednesday night and things didn’t get any easier in the second as Rollins College (10-3, 3-0 SSC) defeated the Panthers (7-6, 0-3 SSC) 99-79 in conference action at the Clemente Center. Derek Hellemann led the home team with 22 in the effort.
